It's that time again! Bon Vivants, Imbibe Magazine and Eat Drink SF are excited to invite you to the 1st Annual Swig n’ Swine - SAN FRANCISCO! Now in our 7th year of Pig & Punch / Swig n’ Swine events, we are excited to be bringing the incredible party and fundraiser to our hometown for the first time!

For those that are unfamiliar - prior to each event, we coordinate a large group that volunteers their time at a local charter school to work on any projects that need to get done (painting, landscaping, deep cleaning, moving lots of heavy objects etc), then we throw a big drinking, eating, and dancing party, and all the proceeds are donated back to that school. It’s about building community around food and drink and the people that love it. To date, Pig & Punch / Swig n' Swine has raised just over $230,000 for charter schools in Miami, New Orleans, Brooklyn, Portland, and Austin (and soon KIPP San Francisco!). We’ve also coordinated 7,043 cumulative hours of volunteer labor at those schools. Check out this videoto get a better sense of what this killer party is all about.
At Swig n’ Swine, the cocktails are a little tongue-in-cheek, we'll have eight MASSIVE barrels of punch crafted by The Bon Vivants, games, other funny tricks, music from our childhood pal, Official GoPro DJ - DJ Dojah making us dance all afternoon, a couple pop-ins from The Jazz Mafia to remind us of New Orleans, plus tons of pig and sides cooked up by some of our favorite chefs. And we have several hundred t-shirts with the new SF logo designed and we plan on selling every one of them for the kids (one is included with your ticket price but you can always buy more or other awesome merch too… all for charity).
Like all other Swig n’ Swines, we have an amazing lineup of chefs who are generously donating their time to come throw down with us. Scott will be making food along with these other San Francisco super talents:

We can't wait to see you all and donate a ton of money to the KIPP San Francisco, whose mission is to build leaders through academic excellence and civic responsibility. A large group of bartenders will have volunteered there all day a few days before the party so KIPP SF can get the money and the muscle!
